The work

Everything Swechha runs, in one place. Projects, campaigns, journeys and events.

Four kinds of work

Not four departments.

The full list

All of it, in one column, whichever kind it is.

A long line of students facing the Yamuna, the city skyline behind

One river taught us everything else.

We for Yamuna came first, in 2000. Every other kind of work here grew out of arguing about one river and losing for a long time.

What it looks like

The work

A group walking up a boulder-strewn river valley below snow peaks, a single yellow bloom in the foreground
Students holding hand-lettered clean-air placards
A group spread across a hillside writing and observing under a tree
A school group in blazers posed for a photograph on a sandy Yamuna bank, a road bridge behind them
Children in beekeeping veils crouched together, grinning
Turmeric plants at knee height, two figures working the rows behind

Get involved

If you would rather start than read, the shortest way in is a walk that takes an afternoon.
