Remakery India opened its doors to weekend workshops. Our first collaboration was with Bamboo Mystics.
The workshop focussed on teaching the participants to make their own wind chimes using bamboo.
Each of the participants also got the opportunity to explore ‘jungle music’ using sound and body as a medium.
At the end of the workshop each of the participants got the opportunity to craft their own handmade windchime.
About the facilitator – Rahul Sharma is an art practitioner and explorer . He has been practising different kinds of ethnic indian instruments like tabla and pakhawaj . His interest has taken him to different parts of the world like Indonesia and Kyrgystan. Rahul has also been making his own instruments from bamboo, to understand the relationship of sound and matter.
