Tanvee is currently managing Swechha’s community projects with adolescents. She comes from the green state of Assam and is a graduate from the Hindu College and post graduate from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. As a sociologist, her specific interests are gender, social psychology, and education. She has worked in the development sector for over three years now in areas of program development, partnership, trainings, communications, and management. In all of these roles she has enjoyed working closely with women, young girls and adolescents. She has executed a wide range of projects with NDTV, UNDP, UN Women, US Embassy, World Bank, ILO, MIT (USA), etc. She is UGC- NET qualified and has an experience in teaching too.Besides this, Tanvee is a graduate in Vocals, Indian Classical music from the Bhatkhande gharana, Lucknow. She has sung songs composed by eminent music directors from the Assamese music industry and her songs have been played by A.I.R and other radio channels. She has a special interest in Indian light music and performs at events sometimes. She has also co-produced telefilms and documentaries for DDK, Guwahati. She has a close connection with the cultural world of Assam. Bringing about a positive impact in the lives of people is one of her primary goals in life.
